What are the best books as a primer for non-buddhist Dharmic religions? Especially Hinduism and Sikhism

I sort-of asked this on /his/ but whatever
>inb4 Guenon
I actually started with Guenon and figured i need to go way back to basics first.

Coomaraswamy "Perception of the Vedas" is decent as an introduction to Vedic thought. You could add "The Dance of Shiva" for a survey of other Indian intellectuals & scholars of religion. Then you might want to start reading the primary texts.

If there’s one thing the government should regulate, it’s food. If you willingly opt to consume a drink with 263 grams of sugar, you should be executed

No, Advaita is based on the Upanishads, the ideas in Advaita and Buddhism that appear similar are only superficially similar but they are saying different philosophical/metaphysical positions if you actually read the primary sources, which the people who say that almost never do.

Here's the summary, if you understand this then you've understood it all, for it to actually be experienced is another matter.

>That (supreme Brahman) is infinite, and this (conditioned Brahman) is infinite. The infinite (conditioned Brahman) proceeds from the infinite (supreme Brahman). (Then through knowledge), realizing the infinitude of the infinite (conditioned Brahman), it remains as the infinite (unconditioned Brahman) alone.

Fundamentals of Indian Philosophy by R. Puligandla.

Solid book; excellent primer. It contains everything you need to understand fundamental differences between the major philosophical systems of India.

It's also a short read and highly accessible.

Baskin-Robbins is run by David Hoffmann. It's not an anti-jew measure. They are protecting fellow jews from the literal goyslop while they fatten up their gentile cattle.
