I'm a writer that's all out of drive. Not out of ideas, but out of gas. Do you have anything you do to help you get going?

Read some more and just go for it. Sit down and type incoherent bullshit if that's what it takes to get word onto paper. And don't go self-editing away all the time like some perfectionist because you'll just keep losing heart.

Just commit, hash out something and, if you've got any talent for it you'll start up the stream again... at least for a little while.
Unless it's some specific problem you've encountered and you need technical help with the cohesion of your writing or something.

But really if you're out of drive you're out of drive. It's like me asking 'what can I do to finish this fucking essay?' and the answer is 'nothing'... I'm either going to sit down and do it or not.

You know what I mean? So if you're not enjoying it or something, take a break... because if you're not enjoying it you shouldn't be bothering really. Unless you've some erudite humanist message to impart upon society and feel compelled to get it out onto paper despite loathing the actual act.

Is that it? See I just wrote a whole lot of shit without even trying because I love to blather. Fuck that, gimme your work and I'll finish it for you... don't like that idea? Protective of your work? Finish it then.

I dunno man what is actually your problem here? You don't bring anything specific to the table so maybe you're just out for a pity party.
