hey /lit/ I am traveling for a while in the hopes of curing my broken heart. I have very much slipped into a rut of despair over most things in life and would like to snap out of it. Just a general weariness from abusive relationships to abusive workplaces and superficial social engagements in my home country.

Most of my trip I will be hiking in Japan with a friend. I have not traveled for years and am hoping to use this opportunity to soothe my general bitterness with nature and a book or two. I fear if left untreated, such bitterness could lead to even more bitterness. I know things are not good but also I am hoping to use my time away to fix this malaise. Preference for classical works of fiction and/or science fiction or any Japanese works of literature. Much appreciated
