What are some great books for getting started with existential philosophy? Just basic fundamental text and what other books I should look out for after I read them. I have a novel I want to write a decade from now, and I figured I needed to do more research as soon as possible

There are alot of nietzsche threads up and those do tend to attract the seething and the butthurt like a colossal philosophical statue of liberty. Why don't you go back to one of those and complain since you don't seem to be interested in giving OP recommendations.
