After a full day of working looking at a computer screen I don’t come home and log on to my desktop to make a low effort post about a writer I like. That you expect that of me is insane

I invented the colour of vowels!––A black, E white, I red, O blue, U green.––I organized the shape and movement of every consonant, and by means of instinctive rhythms, flattered myself that I was the inventor of a poetic language, accessible sooner or later to all the senses. Interpretation I kept for myself.

Yeah I guess im not going to make it. I take literature as a series of signs and meanings communicated from brilliant people to me. I am missing the real meaning - their smells

Ignorant confused comment. Eliot was educated at Harvard and in literature from a young age. He studied verse the same age you were in your moms basement playing Halo 3. If you think this is prose, you have absolutely zero understanding of the history of verse, or rhythm, and should leave the thread.

By the way, how does it feel knowing no matter what lame uninformed opinion you have, Eliot will always be recognized for his greatness?

>Eliot will always be recognized for his greatness?
Over the next 100 years, Eliot will be rightfully recognized as the killer of poetic education. He is to blame for rupi Kaur and Amanda Gorman. He is a plague.
He didn't mean to bring us here, but he did.
