Hello /lit/,
This is an average query in this board.
I have written a book. I want this book published.
I know you are supposed to send it to publishers but I still can't actually find any publishers. I live in the UK. And what am I supposed to do just like find addresses of publishers and send them my story? There must be more to it than that.

It strikes me so odd someone possessing the mental capabilities required in composing an entire book's worth of words could have such trouble in locating a publisher that I find it quite hard to believe such a book exists to begin with.

Just use the internet and other works that you have handy around your house.

Usually, you find agents who have gotten publishers for books somewhat similar to yours. If you don't know what to send, I think you should ask first. Plus, some publishers prefer the books mailed.
