Shadow Out Of Time. It has incredible scope but doesn't feel unwieldy. Love it.

For the same vibe? The Tomb, maybe. Under the Pyramids. Statements of Randolph Carter.

Very comfy. Exactly how I imagine Arkham. Welcome to the wholesomest thread on the board anon.

I love everything about this little nigga. The books, the mythos it's created etc. One of my favourite games at the moment is Arkham Horror the LCG. The writing is brilliant (although some campaigns can be far too wordy) and really nail the feel of Lovecraft. Plus the deck building is so fun, easily one of the best boardgames out at the moment

I was never a horror fan, until I somehow started reading Lovecraft.
I wasn't really impressed with the first several short stories I read...it reminded me of Poe.
Then I ran into "Pickman's Model", and everything changed. That may have been the first time a story genuinely scared me.
From there, "Behind The Wall Of Sleep", "The Haunter Of The Dark", and "Ex Oblivione" quickly became favorites.
I'm still not a horror fan...just a Lovecraft fan.
