I have a theory that different parts of the frogposter's consciousness is expressed through different iterations of the green frog

people generally use the apustaja to talk about things that are happening to them and how that makes them feel, while the standard pepe-frog generally is used to make observations about the world and things happening in it, and the repercussions such events have.
The smug-pepe is reserved for amoral, heinous and selfish thoughts, it's expression is one of self-satisfaction and it's demeanor is one of indifference, and, like the id, the smug frog is by far the least understood.

from left to right we have
>smug, self-satisfied, gleeful, perhaps gloating, pleased, knows what is right and wrong but ignores this dichotomy for the lulz
>self-aware, cautious, unsure, moderate in all aspects, perhaps sad, perhaps innocent
>deeply concerned, highly aware of all aspects of things, "ishygddt", feels something is deeply fundamentally wrong or something bad is about to happen

Which one are you I learn more toward id. I am definitely more on the instinctual side and the ego has never concerned me much, people can think I am a retard, but I want to take off the suit and crawl in the mud

postmodern values are kinda antithetical to the superego desu. Part of the idea of postmodernism is that there is no absolute moral truth, while the superego is the conscience that keeps the ego in line with what it believes moral truth to be through negative reinforcement (feelings of guilt and shame). Since the whole postmodern thing tells people "bee yourself, listen to your id, there is no objective reason you shouldnt follow the pleasure principle," it seems like postmodern thought is outright hostile to the influence of the superego. Yesterday on reddit I saw a 19year old make a post about how his girlfriend told her friends that he likes drinking her urine, and all the comments were saying "that's so mean of her, go find a different yellow drinking fountain," That was an actual term used. And it just made me think about how shameless our society has become, how shame itself is under attack by the culture. You might think, following Freud's theories, that indulging in the id would reduce the amount of unconscious guilt that accumulates via the function of the superego, and that there would be less neurosis, but that doesn't seem to be the case at all. People seem even crazier and unstable now that they can bee themselves :D. There's something to be said for Christianity and its moral force here

sorry, I messed up my words here. I meant to say that she told all her friends that he likes when she pisses on him, and it made him embarrassed. And all the comments were entirely supportive of this teenager drinking piss
