Hey cool I own that Conan book. Just so you know it's missing the very first story. Also you are missing the complete Solomon Kane. Outside of that nice. Tolkien is great although I think his son fucked up with the weird way he's releasing his dad's stuff.

>Tolkien is great although I think his son fucked up with the weird way he's releasing his dad's stuff.
Christopher passed away in 2019. I believe that the History of Middle Earth can be somewhat overwhelming for newcomers. However, between 2007 and 2018, Christopher released three comprehensive anthologies, making the stories of Turin, Tuor, and Beren more accessible. I think The Fall of Númenor, which was not edited by Christopher, marks the first step in a post-Christopher world towards compiling Tolkien's work thematically.
As long as the new editors don't tamper with the stories, I'm fine with it.
>Also you are missing the complete Solomon Kane.
I'm not very familiar with Howard's corpus, I think this is all I have written by him.

Keeping a bunch of books you've already read is a joke unless you expressly plan to open them again. Keeping a bunch of books you will "someday read" is delusional. The window is built in, not the book case. You would need them recessed behind the windows to be built in. I hate when people do this shit with kitchens and say they have "built in" appliances but they're at the same width as counter. I'm busting out a wall to put a Wolf oven in. It will stick out on the outside of the house but it will have it's own wall containing it and a new roof over it. This is the length you need to go to to have something truly built in. It will be behind the counter in the wall.

Looks good, I like seeing those big levels, by the appearance, and texture of the ceiling you also have an older house. The floor looks like engineered bamboo hardwood that was the flippers special around here for a while. Mine wasn't properly installed, doesn't float, and is popping up.

Anyway, make sure to put molding in at the top. It gives the shelf a clean, intentioal look.

Long story short, a bookstore in my city specializing in used books was selling a batch of old Nabokov books, but Ada and Lolita were not among them. I discovered that these books had previously belonged to a teacher and translator who lived in this area because I found notes and his correspondence in some of the books.

The Road to Middle-Earth. They all have original writing and art by Tolkien as well.
