Why the fuck is there so many bots/AI here, like i just ate lunch and got on lit and like every fucking reply in every thread is so fucking npc. I dont really have a grasp on all this- idk how bots work or anything, im just saying that 90% of the comments on this board right now were jot created by humans. They also seem to overuse greentext and it makes the comment seem so fake.

Any company can pay the reddit moderators to spam bot posts for advertising or political purposes, essentially with enough money reddit is paid bot posting. That's why the CEO started charging third party applications to use the reddit API - and hence why the power moderators are pissed off and refusing to accept it
