What does /lit/ think about the Abolition of Work, by Bob Black. I haven't read it, but was thinking about it. Does it make a good point, or is it silly wishful thinking?

>Black
>no work
Why aren't I surprised?

How about you read it that shit, then come to your own opinion on the matter.

Liked a lot. Has some good points and is a fun reading.

I've read it. It's okay. But it kind of puts the stamp on the idea that "DURR SOCIALISM IS FOR LAZIES."

I suggest reading Progress and Poverty by Henry George, if you want real ideas.

Terrible, just like Bob Black.
If you want an actual "good" critique of work, check with "Critique of Economic Reason" by Andre Gorz

I don't think puts out this idea of socialism equal lazyness. The central question is the utility of work as we know today. Is there necessity of this social institution? And I think that is necessary to think these question to distinguish work to production. There is necessity to product, but not to work.

Never read it. I found out the text about work from the Krisis the best one i ever read. Do you know it? But I found ou Bob Black's critique a good start.

>> No.2213518

for sure, Krisis' Manifesto Against Labour is much better!
