Has anyone watched the film Gattaca and the film eXistenZ?
I loved Gattaca. I hated eXistenZ.

I have read some works by brilliant authors. Authors who flexed their brilliance to show us just how brilliant they are. Did I enjoy their offerings? In a word, no. I read for enjoyment, to expand my view of the world and to be honest for the soothing, restorative effect of well written prose. When brilliant authors flex their brilliance to create an offering that features brilliance I become disgusted at a shallow poorly tempered world that can't stand it's own reflection.

I found China Mieville to be brilliant. Can anyone tell me of some other brilliant authors?

Does Ethan Hawke look Russian? I've been told I look Russian, well if my eyes were more round.

Probably not. That's for your tastes to find out it seems.

Love Gattaca. One of my favorite movies, next to Doubt and Do The Right Thing.

inb4 someone insults my film taste. I don't care how shit it is; I like what I like and I hardly watch movies anyway.

Gattaca could easily top anyone's favourite film list. It's got really great style, ambience, and a superb cast-list.
