Post your favourite book covers regardless of genre, style, date of publication, and edition.

I, for one, am a sucker for 60s sci-fi covers.

This might be the best cover for Breakfast at Tiffany's I've ever seen. I especially love how they actually put Audrey Hepburn on the cover even though Capote was outraged when he found out they had cast her for the role of Holly. Apparently the character was inspired by Marilyn Monroe, and he had high hopes they picked her instead.

/d/:The Novel about how having sex turns you into an alligator.

"Such an enriching novel! The whole part about the couple having sex but then turning into an alligator was combined with such incitement into the pains of individualism that even I turned into an alligator!! And then I even had sex with myself!! AS AN ALLIGATOR!!! *raglesjf*- Harold Bloom(now an alligator).

I enjoyed it very much. I felt the language flowed beautifully. The story line was slightly fragmented but beautiful and made the world depicted in the incredible illustration come alive. A rare creation of beauty and hope for the future.

And I specific liked the love story that contrasted the past incest and abuse of the young female character. She was an inspiration and I fell in love with her myself.
