Hello, /lit/. Semi-literate millennial here.
I barely ever read in my life, but when I do it's books that are very complex, bore me to death and make me struggle to understand until I am finished with this toiling and dreadful task.

Anyway, I basically heard (didn't even read) and skimmed through the main works, concepts and points of Karl Raimund Popper.

Suddenly, I felt afflicted by all mental and spiritual diseases known to all sentient beings who understand the concept of time and space, history alike.

Ligma, AIDS, Cancer all have simultaneously infected my soul just by knowing we live in a society which takes his "literary" works seriously.

I would be very grateful if I could have a list of counter-argumentative literature arguing why Karl Popper is, indeed, more like Karl Pooper, amirite fellas?

Pretty sure feyerbend and lakatos were planning to do a collab where one side argued Epistemic anarchy and the other methodological falsificationism. Then lakatos died and nobody has bothered with philosophy of science since

not even remotely what I said. Also the Lakatos/Feyerabend was published, though Lakatos's section was incomplete, under the title For and Against Method.

Feyerabend studied with Popper and addresses many aspects of Popper's philosophy throughout his oeuvre. In one of his dialogs on knowledge, for example, on the Theaetetus, he brings up the existence of hapaxlegomena, or Greek terms that appear only one single time in our extant classical Greek corpus, of which there are many throughout Plato. His point is that there are interminable hermeneutical problems in engaging with Plato and that someone like Popper just brushes aside, ignores all these problematics and really any manner of sophistication i order to take a brutally anglo literalist reading of Plato that turns him into the father of totalitarianism. It's really just embarrassing how naive Popper's readings are, and Feyerabend demonstrates that repeatedly. Also Feyerabend's autobiography is quite short and a very fun read.
