Are any of you guys on /lit/ storytellers or writers?
What would you think if I were to illustrate your stories in anime-style? :)

I would be positively thrilled if you did art for my works. I have a couple you could choose from, but from your animu style i feel my high fantasy smut may be the best fit. What do you say?

What's "high fantasy smut" for you?

I actually think there's not an insignificant amount of crossover between the art and lit boards, I see some of the same stuff in both places. I wouldn't advertise an association with anime on here, though.

It could be cool. Maybe lit/ is in need of its own in-house Doré. It also could push me to think more visually. I'd write specially for you.
What do you like drawing?

It’s pretty nuts how good the illustrations were in this considering how mediocre they were around early Tokyo Ghoul.

I wrote a book called Magellan: The Adventures of a Star Seeker.
And I have written teh second and third books. You can illustrate the shit out of them, anon.
It is just pulp science fiction with an emphasis on exploring new worlds for mankind. Lots of stuff to illustrate in there. Get after it.

I don't want to read the whole book, is there a specific paragraph you want to see illustrated without having to have read the entire context of the book?

I've read the first few paragraphs. Allow me to leave some critique for your benefit. Please make your text more intriguing to read. It bored me.
I didn't feel like there was a strong enough leitmotif wither. It wasn't very clear to me what you wanted to show me, tge reader. Sorry. Thank you.
Not that Anon, by the way.

Thank you for taking a look! I'll try to strengthen a leitmotif within the story. Decay is certainly a theme. As for making it more intriguing do you have any specific suggestions to hook the reader from the get-go? Like, what's it usually take for you personally to go 'awh yeah this shit gonna get good.'

>> No.21995672

>>21995573
Well, this is very subjective, plus I'm not a "normie"but I like it when the writer uses a broad vocabulary. You DID use many different words, however some of them were too obscure, and it felt as if you only used them merely to inject some variety to the text...
Also, I recommend building up some tension, this could be done by leaving out some essential information that the reader thinks he should be aware of by the time he reads it, which keeps him going. Kinda like a cliffhanger.
And I didn't get the decay theme exceot for the part where he said he used to look better in the past or something.
I don't know how else to explain it, sorry. Hope this helped and all the best!
