Based but you should substitute Huckleberry Finn for A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court. Way funnier and less rambly. I mean obviously Huck Finn is more relevant to American culture and lit, but so is Connecticut Yankee in a different way. My problem with Huck Finn is that its ~450 pages and absolutely does not need to be. That's just my two cents though.

I finished it recently. I enjoyed it quite a bit. It's short and the writing is a bit on the simpler side but I really liked how fleshed out the characters are. It's themes also made a big impact in me and I appreciate how well researched it was. Defiently a must read for anyone whose interested in China or just going through a rough patch.

What's wrong with the Tao Che Ching? I liked it... My only criticism is that The Bible contains the same message but is a vastly superior book, containing more lessons, history and richer content
