Your own religion would be organized but just by yourself. That being said, I would recommend reading the earliest Church Fathers and see how they lived and believed the message. This would be Origen, Tertullian, Clement of Rome, and others. I do recommend just following the message sincerely because it's a gift and part of its gift is unifying us throughout space and time to the past thus why the Roman Catholic Church exists.

Would it be a meme for an American to join the Orthodox Church? I've warmed up to the idea of organized religion, I believe in God and accept Jesus, but all my interactions with the Protestant and Catholic churches in my area have not been encouraging for me.
