Pic somewhat related.
I'm looking for my next read, but I'm not quite sure where or what to look for.
In the past I've enjoyed themes of perseverance and being lost/stuck somewhere.
Maritime history/fiction tends to capture some of that, but there's probably other parallels I've yet to explore.

Got any recommendations for me?

I was going to say Shackleton, but then I thought as OP described "I've enjoyed themes of perseverance and being lost/stuck somewhere" I figured they had to of been reading about Shackleton already to come up with such a line because it's literally it. Great recommendation.

The Klondike is a great read.

Project Hail Mary. It takes place in space, but otherwise the themes work.

if you don't mind some surrealism, mount analogue fits the bill

You'd probably really enjoy pic rel. It's a short story from Tales of the Unreal, the unreal horror anth. It's pretty good. Basically everything you described. It kinda gives The Terror vibes but without the gay monster bear. I won't spoil the plot but it follows a crew as they discover a bizarre curse halfway through the pacific and then shit starts deteriorating.
