I'll never forget the people who used dolphinfat as sunscreen in this one. Other than that, it's a fun mix of adventure and history, struggle against nature and politics. I don't think it's helpful to think of how much of it is true or not, or how big a role Xenophon truly played in the leadership. Rather, just enjoy the Greek view of the expedition, and Xenophon's tour de force.
