I love this movie
how do I become like him, except all the demon interaction and stuff?
would I have to learn Latin? I think I would need to.

You would have to have insane knowledge to do such a job. If you want to fo the authentication work, you need expertise on printing practises, ink, dates of publications, practises at the time, artists that would have done woodcuts or illustrations at the time and how to spot a degraded woodcut.

If you want to be a rare books dealer, you need to know what markets require what volumes, what items are flooding the market right now, a list of buyers that are guaranteed to snap up volumes, a list of sellers that you can pass items to if you do not have those contacts yourself.

Go for it though anon, you will expand your learning immensely by doing so. You will become a Certified Big Brane in the process.

Corso leads a life that is 10x more interesting than almost any individual you will run into on the street. The mundane days of rare book dealing are likely significantly more interesting, let alone when some wealthy client tells him to go travel for him.
