How much theology do you guys typically read in a year?

I read a lot of theology but mostly Orthodox and Catholic, as I am Orthodox and find that Catholics write interesting theology. I have a huge blind spot for Protestant theology after around 60's. I think one of the last protestant theologian worth reading is Tillich. Did not fine anyone past him that sparked my interest. I have absolutely no interest and patience for Calvinism.
Anyone have any interesting recs for me especially for protestant theology?

You would probably enjoy the works of Jay Dyer, who does protestant theology and apologetics within an Orthodox framework.

For the Catholic side I recommend the Mysteries of Christianity and The Glories of Divine Grace by Matthias Scheeben. Cosmos by Louis Bouyer.

If you like heavy metaphysics then there's a little gem called Analogia Entis by Erich Przywara too

Theology isnt words on a page but a thing that you do

theos+logos=theology
logos= word, reason, discourse
so theology literally means discourse about God
yeah, the experience of God's revelation and experience should predate discourse, that is why the mystical experience is superior to theological speculation, but don't try to get rid of theology. All the Church Fathers that left any writings did theology. There is good theology that is faithful to the revelation and there is bad theology.
