how do i live in an age of no real convictions, jumping from one niche extremist idea to another just because it would be a funny meme to be an esoteric hitlerist or post-left anarcho-nihilist? how do i cure this primordial boredom? how do i find something that is real? i know a lot more than 4 years ago when i started but i still feel as lost, it all seems extremely pointless. even studying philosophy at uni seems like a futile excercise. everyday i wake up and go into the world larping as myself.

are there any writers who explore this issue? or is this my shot at my magnum opus that i know i have in me?

I'm not religious and I don't believe in the supernatural but sometimes I have encounters with weird characters in dreams and they tell me things and I hold what they say to the utmost importance IRL when I wake up. So I have thoughts like
