How realistic would be for this century major writer to be on the age where he could post on 4chan?

Because it's simply hilarious to think that every century there's not at least a major man of letters born on this planet.

Why would they be here instead of attending their MFA and networking with publishers and editors?

Probably. The people who will become leaders in, say, the second half of this century will all have started out on the internet and the autists who get obsessive enough about fringe interests to become leaders in those fields will probably all at least know about this site. Those sorts of people will probably eventually move on to places that are more intellectual than 4chan, though. The vast majority of people on this site are idiots, me probably included kek, but the anonymity and competetive nature of image boards sometimes do create good ideas.

It's possible. But if they had any brains they would not discuss coming here.

That networking helps you get a shot but doesn't secure success. It comes with a big downside of causing you to pay attention to fashionable ideas and people, getting trapped in groupthink. Some outsider doggedly pursuing excellence will be the major writer of this century, not an insider whore.

Only if they avoid the pitfall I described. The issue is that the excellence an "insider" aims at usually splits into one of two paths: writing what currently sells, or writing to appease the refined tastes and cultural mores of their literary network. The point is that an outsider will usually be the one to take the risk of doing something different, looked down upon, or unfashionable that actually blows up into commercial or literary success... while those who follow well worn paths will mostly muddle along, getting shots at success but wasting them.
