I think its an interesting case study that does exemplify an aspect of the social sphere around leftism. Its both enamored by the idea of the working class, but its often anathema to much of the Modus Operendi that makes up and comes out of the working class. An interesting self destructive cycle where an intellectual appeal distances one from the nuance of reality. It kind of gs to mind the moaist intent to send young college men to the feilds in order to address this sort of seemingly reoccurring disconnect.

Dont feel 100% lucid right now, but I sense a sort of throughline here. I believe most people can kinda apreciate it if they went to collage and saw the weirdly and almost perverse, disconnect between school theorists/students, and actual people who do labor as their mainstay. like, on a fundamental level of conceptualization.
