This is just retarded to me because I can literally just read what Mussolini wrote.

I've read his romance novel, The Cardinal's Mistress, and found it remarkably ok.
It's unabashedly second rate genre fiction, but it's got feeling and is not badly written.

I also have, though I've not read it, Renzo De Felice's 4 part biography of the man.
