I've noticed this too. It's weird how every lit place is obsessed with BIPOC, while also dying and having almost zero readership.
Did a job shadow for a small press, and half their shit was stuff like this. I find it hard to believe their is a large audience for this kind of stuff. Who even is the audience that reads this kind of schlock?

I've been contemplating starting some kind of Latin society in my local town. I figure I can go around to a the churches in town, get together some patrician old men, read through different letters of Cicero together once a week, have regular latin study, embezzle funds, and possibly groom some bookish young highschool girl into being my waifu.
