Which stories–or what kind of stories–would make kids and teenagers reflect on the problems of modern age and interested in high culture?
I'm an English teacher and I like to teach telling stories. Seeing how kids are exposed to so much vulgar and useless shit both on social media and IRL is saddening.

There's an edgy story by Mariana Enriquez called "Meat" in the collection "The Dangers of Smoking in Bed" which is pretty good on fando, groupthink, and cultish behaviour
