You got memed into reading the books of a sodomizing rapist torturer and a man who never grew out of the philosophy he had when he was an edgy teenager. Drop them and read something better, like actual literature instead of erotica and shitty philosophy. If you're intent on reading philosophy, then read Aristotle and no one else.

If you can flush your shit down the toilet without eating it you've already defeated De Sade. Stirner is a retard who was BTFO by Marx, the power of the individual is determined by his social and economic conditions, as well as his mental state. Stirner thought you could remove all limitations on indivdual power just by a mental trick of exorcising spooks, but mere thoughts can't enable you to buy things in an economy or provide you status/rights in social life. Practical action requires more than a mental trick of exorcism.

they're just books, anon. you don't have to absorb them vicariously in order to read or analyze them

Marx and Stirner were both pseuds but Stirner isnxt btfo'd by this. The point isn't maximization of material possibilities but being unlimited purely by the ideas and wills of others. A world with no economic functionality and no goods available at all could still support a completely "free" stirnerite.
In fact, Stirner writes in The Ego and Its Own that a slave, even if chained, tortured, beaten, and killed never loses his freedom at any point so long as his will is unbroken.

No it couldn't, that's the point, he'd not only starve to death, nor could he do anything (there are no Robinsonade fantasies IRL), he'd be unable to cultivate himself, because human cultivation depends on intersubjectivity in a supportive society with sufficient economic backing to produce goods and services.

Whilst you point out the absurdity of Stirner's fantasy well, you fail to see the absurdity of it, the impotent man sitting alone starving to death isn't "free" in any positive sense. Free to do what, lay down and rot? A buddha's freedom to waste away unto moksha? The only freedom Stirner offers is the freedom to be impotent, the freedom to become nothing.

Mental tricks are simply dreamlands without the power to change your material and social conditions.

Your material and social coditions are neccessary conditions of your being. Mental tricks that fail to give power to determine your material and social conditions are true spooks because they can not change the neccessary conditions of your being, and can give nothing but the freedom to absolve yourself from your neccessary conditions, to be sent to Coventry in social isolation to waste away and die. Your Stirnerism ad absurdum is the freedom of the Buddhist monk to declare food and air spooks and starve himself to death with ever decreasing breating rates.

Starve yourself to death then spastic, try to live off the whiff of incense smoke alone if you are a transphysical being above metabolism who lives not of this world. All Stirner amounts to is the ascetic denial of the world, as you freely admit. Another usless fakir.

I remember Ligotti and Schopenhauer posting used to genuinely scare me when I was a newfag. That kind of stuff makes you look into the abyss. Stirner is just based and appealed to the rebellion in me.
