I am stupid. I've realized that I'm just gullible and easily lead. Is there really a way to fix this? Can the old advice about "go read books" really work? Or am I resigned to a fate of below average mental capacity?

Read The Lost Tools of Learning by Dorothy Sayers. She explains why most people are like this and what education you need to get out of it. Then check out LLPSI.

I haven't watched the particular video, but I've seen her other videos and seen this one linked here before. Sayers is recommending to teach children Latin grammar but learning as an adult is still good.
