What are some interesting 2000's/early 2010's blogs? that period of internet seems to be completely forgotten

Well, the main blogging platforms of the time were livejournal and geocities. Looking through archives of those sites might be a good start.

There were also myspace blogs and personal websites. I think Eliezer Yudkowski started blogging in the early 2000's, his stuff is always good.

The Portal of Evil wasn't really a blog, but it was fun. It was an archive of oddities from the early internet. I think there's archives on the waybackmachine. It was followed by EncyclopediaDramatica around 2005. That site is still around but it's dead and kind of shitty these days.

roissy in dc/chateau heartiste is an interesting pua and proto-alt right blog from that time that actually was pretty influential to modern internet culture. the whole thing is also dripping of blackpilled sleaze and he still has fanboys worshipping him.

Hell nah, and even if you say kf has pausible deniability, their adjacents don’t give them much credit at all. That site just looked like a basic point and laugh club, things didn’t get truly crazy until later on

Team Rocket's Rockin. I used to spend so much time on this blog as a kid! It was written by a woman obsessed with Pokemon who discovered and discussed a bunch of glitch Pokemon and did some nice cosplays. I know it's nothing literary but it's a great trip down memory lane if you used to like Pokemon or if you're into retro video games. It was very soulful and she put a lot of love into it all. Someone archived the site in its entirety but I can't access it (?).

Here's a Wayback Machine capture of the front page with a few links, at least

That's about the time I found it. I remember avidly browsing it between ages 7 and 10 or so, then reminiscing about it with a friend in early high school and being astonished that he knew the website I was talking about. I think it really got around in the Pokemon community, considering it's been defunct for >10 years and has its own thoroughly-researched Bulbapedia page

There was also a guy who killed himself and left his blog to auto-update with a excerpt from his suicide note every few years. can't find it now there.

there were a couple of cool phoney blogs , one about a caving adventure and one about a woman who rode her motorcycle through Chernobyl. they got popular because they were really fun reads and then were exposed as fiction, but I liked reading them,
