Over a hundred, especially if you count web novels as a number of novels by wordcount. I was reading like 2-3 novel's worth of words per day at some points. I just like reading hahahahaha.

What do you call that white/red font? It has that early 90's book design aesthetic that I really like.

Probably "Shit you can do in MS Word". The world was less computer savvy, so you could get away with any desktop publishing tool.

It is a good style, mind. Brutalist.

how do you start that many books without finishing them? I can understand not enjoying a book enough to put it down, theres only so much time in a life and so many books out there so its important to prune when necessary, but 38 fucking books in a single year? were they all that bad or did you just have some inability to finish even a book you enjoyed? what would compel you to stop entirely even if you enjoyed yourself? that makes no sense to me.

Longest book: History of Christianity by Diarmaid MacCulloch, 1160 pages.

>> No.21361953

you did not read 3 books a week. and if you did, especially hitting at 1160 pages for the biggest ones, you did not internalize a fucking thing. any baboon can speedread their eyes across a page in 20 seconds, but i hope someday you realize your book count is a meaningless gamification of the pursuit of real knowledge.

>> No.21362010

>>21361953
>I can't read fast therefore it's impossible for you
Fuck off. It's just a book every other day or so. I read about equally between nonfiction and fiction. Acting like every book is so hard to "internalize" you need to have this spiel about "real knowledge" is embarrassing.
How about instead of you crawling through every word of a book you try to read it through and then read a couple of other books on the same subject. Repetition is good for learning and differing viewpoints help illustrate complexity, rather than treating any one text as gospel.
