Want everybody to have another friendly reminder that European jews are absent entirely in any European history until the 7-10th centuries. There is zero records of any jews in Europe before this period and then suddenly you have multiple accounts. What happened? It's weird, jews tell themselves they were banished from Palestine by the Romans(never happened) yet the biggest jewish revolt in history occured in 7th century Palestine. I thought they all left? Did the muslims kick them out? Wait! The muslims actually gave jews MORE privileges and freedom of movement in Palestine compared to the Byzantines. Why would the jews then, given better privileges, leave Palestine to a much poorer backwater that was the early medieval western and eastern Europe? There are zero accounts of any Jewish migration out of Palestine in this region, and no accounts of Jewish arrivals into Europe.
