Why do you think that, and what do you mean by it? Rude. :(

That is one hilariously bad selection of "heroes" to have for yourself anon. If this is trolling, which I suspect, you have my respect. If this is not, I have nothing but contempt for you.

Idk, maybe poverty and the Catholic focus on good works as essential to the Faith. At least, that's what kept me faithful - the experience of God in the work of the Church.

what did Saint Moses the black write? I'm Ethiopian and have never heard of him having been an intellectual. Thought he was only well known for his conversion and for being a hothead who got into loads of fights with pagans and non-Christians?

theyre well-known american manners, such as >>21315701 they are still at that phase where they think its cooler to be le mean because many of them were raised by marvel movies and westerns. remember that the best way to treat these people back is to be nice to them in the hopes that one day they'll grow up.

Cuz I'm a Maoist and like his political/economic theory. On Practice and Contradiction from Verso Books is a good collection of his most essential works, ignoring the Zizek introduction. Also the Shanghai Textbook is great for understanding their Worldview Marxism of the time and political economy.
>>21317203
From my list, Toussaint L'Ouvurture and St. Moses the Black weren't really writers (although Toussaint had some incredible speeches). St. Moses in particular is just one of my favourite Saints and inspirations because I relate to him a lot, as a confrontational hothead always trying to do better.

It shouldn't be so puzzling to see a christian maoist seeing as they are both resentful slave morality ideologies, but it is so regardless. However, it is still incoherent to hold any kind of materialism and religiosity simultaneously; historical materialism explicitly goes against the christian view of history. You would do better by reading Dostoyevsky, Tolstoy, or Kerkegaard rather than Marx.
