I'll start. Came across Maxime J. Durand from a passing mention. Really enjoyed "Vainqueur the Dragon" and "The Perfect Run", which are free on royal road. French is his first language so the grammar can be inconsistent, but only minor mistakes here and there. I feel dirty for even visiting that website though, for some reason.

The former was brimming with a mix of Drax and One Punch Man style humor, and the latter explored a timeloop gimmick in a fun and interesting way.

I just feel like I should be reading Moby Dick or something, but I'm reading this.

I think I would rather kill myself than read any of that.

Is this a Royalroad thread?
I've read the perfect run, it's not the greatest book I've ever read but it certainly fits the "guilty pleasure" box. It's finished, at least.

My favorites on RR are Mother of Learning, Post Human, Sunflower, Superworld (finished)

Jackal Among Snakes, Beware of Chicken, Delve, Re:Trailer Trash, Dungeon Crawler Carl, The Snake Report, and Paranoid Mage. (multiple books available, but overall unfinished)

I don't really like Durand stuff but I got to admit his stories are entertaining and he is putting real effort in what he does, so props to him.

I read shit books all day. I liked the Sea of Tranquility lately. I thought myself a bit old for the high school setting but after 50 pages or so, it became really interesting.
