/lit/ is mostly based, you get a lot of great reading recommendations and occasionally some phenomenal in-depth philosophical discussion that is quite advanced, along with a general appreciation for arts, culture and fitness it’s a comf vibe if you just lurk, but if you actually attempt to engage you’ll find that /lit/ also unfortunately suffers from almost all of the same problems many social media platforms suffer from, you’ll encounter a metric shit ton of asinine arseholes whom constantly only want to degrade you, the threads, topics and even conversations are practically on rails with no room for you, bots likely abound and there’s absolutely no transparency when it comes to the oldfags (or glowies) that are undoubtably running the show, or for that matter what their agenda is. I personally like the anon nature of it though, especially the fact that the threads are eventually deleted.
