Ever read a Danielle Steel book? I read one out of curiosity. She’s probably the wealthiest schlock writer outside of James Patterson, I mean hundreds of millions of dollars and Patterson uses ghostwriters while Steel apparently does not. Her books are extremely basic. It felt like a half baked screenplay draft to me and a mishmash of various soap opera plotlines. Surprise car accidents, surprise terminal illnesses, sudden inheritances, chance encounters with old lovers. Reading it made me realize there are people out there who are so retarded they are practically a different species. Them you realize there are people who can’t even read and are more retarded than the Steel readers. Crazy
