Any recommendations? books about being alone all the time in your room, not having a social circle, not being part of groups, clubs, not going to parties, to school, not working with other people, not participating in society in general

Just read case studies on hikikomori and then extrapolate from there since it's now happening globally

I understand what you mean OP and I hope you're not desperate in this situation, if you are in it.
Despite spending 95% percent of my life alone, I have a stable above average job and a fulfilling hobby (sidejob). I am alone, but instead of feeling guilt I'm rather just questioning: "Is something wrong with this? - because I am feeling just fine". Something tells me media doesn't want you to be self-sufficient because that way they won't make money.

I just thought I'd share this, because I hope you're not asking for these books because you need help.

Hsin Hsin Ming and Tao Te Ching. For a more western take, Jed Mckenna's Enlightenment Trilogy.
First, of what use is socializing, for you in particular?
Second, what is your greatest desire?
Third, are you willing to suffer for your greatest desire?

You say that like it's an irreversible end of the line from which you can never come back. I did it for a couple years for fun and to fit in with the people I was around then (although I never bought fully into any of the more delusional crap), then simply grew out of it and also got tired of maintaining the look, and just went back to being a normal guy.

There's a difference between being an introvert and having zero social life. Op said not just that he likes alone time, but that he has no social circle what so ever.
I'm a complete loner and it's definitely not good longterm. I feel incredibly stunted and disconnected from everything.

I only have a poem:

windows all aglow
in a fluorescence
only my neighbors know

lightning bugs
aimlessly dancing through the night

do you feel it too?

a clog in the arteries

everyone living in the same vein
but scattered in some spots
crowded in others
-always alone

or I don't know
maybe it's just me
walking late at night

on the curled up sidewalks
among the curtled strangers
who walk dogs
and smoke there cigarettes

some chat on phones
so loud against the deafening
cries of frogs and crickets

so loud
is the quiet death of an age
aged to death
by a drunken obesity

or is it just me?

Where did everyone go?
Yet another vacancy
and we don't want your vagrancy

get lost

lost
loitering
in public like a criminal

we are private people
isolated in so many separate buildings

nothing builds
it only erodes
-everyone shut up in their homes
-everyone shut up

alright
airtight polite passage of time

do you feel it too?

This. Don't romanticize the normalfag existence. It's boring and depressing since normalfags are perpetually stuck in the present and completely ignorant to more abstract things.

I'd say don't romanticize being completely alien to society and not having at least some social circle or other form of human interaction. Being alone in a room with a computer your entire youth is clearly unhealthy and undesirable (for most, it seems). Now, obviously the normalfag way of life has its flaws and is very far from perfect. But what could be harmful in enjoying a sunny day at the park playing ball with some friends and then going home watching a movie and snuggling with your girlfriend? I'm not putting it on a pedestal, by the way, I'm only wondering how different life could be. Anyway, got any books recommendations?
