True. Kpop idols are creepy, it looks like they were made with the stencil on an industrial scale, and then activated through a button.

History of the Peloponnesian War obviously wasn't directly about ethics but it has a lot of information about the major actors in the war and Thucydides is pretty clear on what character flaws he thinks those people have and you get to read about the result of those flaws. City of God is pretty good. I'm only halfway through it and it goes on a bunch of random tangents but his explanation for the Roman Empire's success despite the flaws he felt they had in their moral system was very interesting. If you haven't read the Iliad its a good read and the ending is a pretty visceral depiction of how fucked up the world can be and why you might want to consider ethics in the first place. You could also just read books with the word "Ethics" in the title. That usually is a pretty good hint.

Fyodor Dostoevsky's "The Brothers Karamazov"
book is really biased but he incapsulates a lot of dense philosophical think-pieces into a really quotable and fun novel

Morality is relative and made up to uphold society and civilization. Some of it may have basis in core biological human nature but its impossible to define what human nature even is and how much of the philosophy is innate to us.

A general introduction would be Shafer-Landau's Fundamentals of Ethics.

For classic philosophers of the main schools though:
Aristotle - Nicomachean Ethics
Kant - Groundwork of the Metaphysics of Morals
Mill - Utilitarianism
