What are the best books to promote in order to get the unwashed masses of zoomers to join an anti-tech, radically traditionalist uprising? Can I propagandize them via TikTok? They seem more self-aware and more easily radicalized than millennials, yet most are lethargic and defeatist. Would they take action for a sufficiently charismatic leader?

>> No.20895161

>They seem more self-aware and more easily radicalized than millennials, yet most are lethargic and defeatist.
This is actually pretty spot on

>Would they take action for a sufficiently charismatic leader?
Absolutely, look at how they took to Andrew Tate, or really any of the surrogate father figure e-celebs (Jordan Peterson, Sam Hyde, John David Ebert, etc). It's clear that the zoomers are desperately looking for something to cling to and are grabbing hold of anybody they can.
Now, the zoomettes? No clue

Zoomers have a misplaced messiah complex. With Donald Trump having failed and turned to pure grifting, and with Putin’s Russia being consistently shown as both anti-white and incapable of posing a serious threat to the West, the hopium addicts have turned yellowed sclerae towards glorious Chairman Xi, who’ll karate-chop the gay unipolar world order.

I’m glad other people are observing the same tendencies. I think the zoom zooms as a whole harbor a lot of latent revolutionary capacity. Whoever manages to tap into it successfully will have an enormous impact on the 21st c.

I think their awareness comes from being so up close to the problems of today. Their parents still think their schools are teaching curriculums about calculus so we can fight communists but actually schools ARE teaching that outdated shit from the 50’s along with LGBTQIA+ authoritarian groupthink and any gaps are filled in with American Imperialism and all their classmates are immigrants from Mexico. Part of the problem is that they’ve only ever grown up In a culture of complete defeat and have never even seen movies, music, books etc that are even counter-cultural. They’ve been repressed by technocapital and have a hard time conceptualizing a world without their overlords. So while they’re the first line of people dealing with the financial/cultural problems of today they don’t even know how to dismantle it.

The problem is collective-anything is over. Modern people are completely alienated. I’ve already seen strains for this thought all over the United States in different forms. Self published book presses and off grid living are more popular than ever—the will is definitely there. The problem are the tools and infrastructure for any kind of cultural moment have been TOTALLY FUCKED. You can’t even have an art show without Facebook events organizing it, thousands of websites died to consolidate all information into about 5 tech companies apps that own not just all communication but all infrastructure. The viewership for FRIENDS was the last time that many eyeballs will be anywhere as everything has gone niche. That’s not an accident.

Your post brings up two interesting points. First, the idea of zoomers living, essentially, in some kind of fallen, defeated world. I mean, look at the two events that bookend their generation: 9/11 on the one hand, and the absolute media shitstorm surrounding Trump's presidency on the other. I know the whole "end of history" idea is bullshit but look at it from the zoomers' perspective, from the culture they've grown up in. Second, the idea that they have not been exposed to anything counter cultural. I think this ties into the idea that it is impossible to have anything truly counter-cultural anymore because of the internet, and the zoomers were the first generation to grow up on the internet. The internet has, essentially, done two things: flattened everything and placed it on a grid, and localized everything. What I mean by "flatten" is that the internet has made everything local: there are no more true cultural hubs or centers; what I mean by "placed on a grid" is that almost everything has been made instantly accessible through the internet, as if a grid has been overlaid and coordinates assigned to almost everything culturally related.

>> No.20895421

>>20895338
Thanks for your response, I agree completely. The good news is that culture by its very nature, changes. No matter how much it’s flattened and hallowed out by modernity (right wingers call this globohomo( globalized homogenization) and left wingers call it neoliberalism) it can’t stagnate forever. It’s artificially being held back from developing, which is why every other day Anons love to post screenshots of publishers refusing to publish whites/males and the POC they DO publish actually just come from a very specific ideological class. Black female academics have completely erased black male academic points of view and theories. This is enforced among all cultural production not just publishing. Much like the French Revolution there are circles being formed outside of the institutions which is hilariously why the media shit their pants a few years ago about the “intellectual dark web” which was a ridiculous gang of faggots. How long it takes for culture to move on is anyones guess—anyone that tells you they know of an exit out of it his hellscape are selling snake oil. But we will come out, one way or another.

Your right it’s just a sort of constant nihilism concerning the world at large. I think most people has kept their positive outlook by only focusing on their own life on the small scale and trying to make that best as possible (creating relationships disciplining yourself etc) because thankfully that’s still possible and there’s no reason to really care for the large scale because you can’t do anything about it, or at least that’s the perception.

Zoomers are self-radicalizing, don't focus on depth of message just focus on making an "experience" they like that also doesn't task them with too much. Remember these are people who want to read tweets about reading Nietzsche for ten years and never read Nietzsche. You need people with big personalities to influence them, don't go the PragerU route and try to get a bunch of bowtie boomers to push Reagan shit, that only worked on a generation of people willing to actually read Hayek and nostalgically watch Bill Buckley reruns. Now is the age of streamers having "debates." Five Nicholas Fuentes retards with no ideas who will eventually betray eachother and implode into scandals are superior to one extremely good thought and consistent leader, because thought leaders can always be isolated but Fuenteses can be bred in a lab and swapped out and the zoomer attention span won't even notice.

Get a bunch of manic excitable charismatic faggots and dominate them with money and patronage so they can never get cancelled (make it part of their contract that they can never mention their funding and have to just play up their teflon powers as mysterious), do it from behind the scenes to avoid any semblance of artificiality, and you can steer discourse whichever way you want

>Once you read enough, you start seeing the horrors of technology everywhere, and there is absolutely no escape.
That is not the fault of tech. That is the fault of the users. This is akin to blaming the gun for murders instead of the murderers. What anti-tech is asking for is to flee from power whenever it is possessed out of fear of potential evil instead of understanding how to use power responsibly.
And besides, the anti-tech stance is naive for the same reason the anarchist stance is naive. In the same way people want order and leadership, people also want power thus leading us back to technology regardless.

Like it or not, we're stuck with technology since no sane person would deliberately cast it away and make themselves weaker in the process. We just need a better philosophy for its development and use.

I feel that what technology does is exacerbate our human flaws since these flaws are given more impact thanks to the added power we are given. So to fix our problems with technology, we have to fix ourselves.

Imo, sociopaths and mainly psychopaths are the biggest culprits of our techno problems since these kind of people thrive off exploitation, which is the biggest complaint most anti-tech people have. Unfortunately, when paired with Capitalism, these people are poised to be the most successful in our societies since they have no qualms with stepping and stabbing on the backs of others to have power over people and consequently power over technology since Capitalism itself is a massive king of the hill battle.
Maybe a new form of government could fix things.

Millennials don’t have any actual interest in zoomers, only use them to their own benefit, to spread, like you yourself do, faggot, millennial magical thinking to their own benefit. Sell outs all of them. That’s why their mimed paternitas never sticks.
You lead brothers by example; your best interest is close to their self interest if not the same and is opposite to the bourgeoise values millennials still strife to capture. Accumulation of wealth, influence, recognition. The zoomer cares less about money, less about recognition or influence. It's the simple self assertion of being that zoomers want. Some way to say “I am” without a but to a person intent in hearing it, seeing another real human being, just a human being, with whom they can share this “I am”.
Zoomers trip and fall in this endeavour but they yet pursue it. This is no fad, no trend, no revolution. It’s a necessity for the human being born into a void world of technical ubiquity. You can’t go back and no one wants to go back. The circumstances are however unique to this moment and the world needs to change for the unilateral “I am” to sound at all, needs to be receptive for the “I am” to come to ear and senses.

What people perceive as a traditional society. I think it made it clear I don’t think it is

Imagine there's no heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today, I
Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace
You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one
Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world, you
You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one

Correct, infrastructure is less romantic but far more important than shared literature when it comes to gaining power. The bottleneck to success of such an uprising becomes a technical and logistic problem instead of an ideological one. Not that there aren't ideological problems as well, writing a compelling founding text for your movement is going to be difficult when the zoomers know nothing but defeats and have had opportunities to really assert themselves (as others put very well). There will never be a zoomer Mein Kampf (a ridiculous phrase on its face) because there's no world war to enlist in, no political party to join that won't be instantly censored by faceless algorithms the moment it's conceived. There's no space for masculine self-assertion when everything about the environment the zoomers grew up in is pathetic, sanitized, childish, but still destructive. That lack of self-assertion, mostly due to the environment, prevents a founding text coming from the zoomers because a defeatist manifesto only about how bad things are isn't compelling or respectable. It would just come off as a sort of slave morality.

Being anti-tech can easily be construed, accurately or otherwise, as defeatist as well. You're acquiescing the power of technology and surrendering it to the powers that be. I fully understand the dangers of technology, but attacking it can easily fall into that rut I mentioned before of having no victories to inspire people to action.

One last point, the zoomers have a very idealistic mindset that often deals with abstractions and representations instead of their real world equivalents. Likely in part from the physical and ideal being separated from eachother due to the internet. As a result many of them fall into a mental trap where they think that ideologically defeating something, or proving its contradictions, is the same as taking power from it. Leading to many zoomers sitting on their laurels after they feel they've sufficiently BTFO technological society with facts and logic. This is a problem i'm sure every generation and political movement has had but it's especially strong with the zoomers.

A movement that recognizes and wants to limit the domination of technology over man would have to take power, but since it would require technology to do so it would need to harness its power without getting corrupted by it. Maintaining the same anti-tech sentiment from the start of the movement to the point that it takes power is a very tall order.

This isn’t a traditionalist board, chud. You’re part of a sometimes very loud minority. Also, that not how you greentext. If you identify as a millennial or a boomer just look for some krautchan like niche fag forum to post instead.

God this is the most fake and disgusting thread I‘ve seen in a while. A bunch of NPCs without connections or grasp on reality all pushing their agenda down the throat of people they ultimately dislike. Pathetic.
You should all kys and give this world a chance instead of working with this apologetic nonsense.

Zoomers are a dominant "Hero"/"Civic" generation in the Strauss-Howe generational model. Their childhood was marked by the 'Unraveling'-Turnings of climate change activism (e.g. An inconvenient truth in 2000), the decline of american hegemony (Rise of China, 9/11-Attacks), and the acceleration of end stage capitalism (2008 crisis, failed Obama healthcare reforms, Globalisation).
They are becoming young adults in a time of constant crisis (extreme weather events like forest fires in the Amazon, Australia, California <- climate change; Nato failure in Afghanistan <- 9/11; a global pandemic; supply chain shortages; civil unrest like the BLM and Jan 6th insurrection).
History is not cyclical, but similar circumstances affect people in similar ways. This nurture in turn shapes their ideals and by extension the way they act and the way the react to outside influences.

you need to understand that young zoomers are in large numbers looking up to people like andrew tate. whoever the equivalent grifter of your time was, you have to internalize he is not just some literally who, he is a posterchild for what is being cultivated in young men.

The hegemony of feminism in zoomzoom politics leaves zoomer boys purposely neglected. Those who haven't fallen for the feminism meme and many who have are alienated and attention starved, and will happily embrace the first man or ideology to unconditionally accept them. This is where the grifters and political extremism comes in.
>Feminism says my sex constitutes an original sin and that I should gtfo to make room for grills.
>JP, John Doyle, Andrew Tate, Dissident Right, whatever says boys are epic and needed more than ever
>Who do I like more?
If Hitler came back he would become incredibly popular just by acknowledging young male suffering without blaming it on young men.

there's an old webcomic where there's a racist old american guy who travels to other countries and has meaningful cultural experiences in each one and returns back to his home a changed man, and then there's a /pol/ edit where the guy is just walking through crowds of brown masses in every country and returns home and feels fully justified in his racism. I feel like that illustrates the concept pretty well.
