Any soul trapped in illusion will always be centerless, and mere "happiness" is always an illusion, since the center of being is not happiness but a higher form of bliss that is the obverse of truth. You are presupposing a materialist ontology in which "happiness" is just a state that a biological computer can be in, therefore it doesn't matter what knowledge such a being has so long as the happiness continues. But happiness is not a state of a computer. Consciousness is fundamental, mind is being and being is mind, and ontologically speaking mind can only ever be at rest when it is unified with itself, which means being free from illusion.

The idea of a universe full of deluded beings in pleasure comas is internally incoherent. It presupposes all kinds of nonsensical ideas about matter preceding mind but differentiating into mind for no reason.

The humanity has no goals since it has no existence. The humans have goals and that is to discover our potentialities through the harmonization of our three centers: emotional, intellectual and instinctual. This process necessarly involves pain and suffering. They are the feelings that make self reflection and metacognition emerge, since if we would be happy all the time there were no reason to question our existence. If you want to discover the meaning behind the whole of reality (cosmic mind) it is to discover itself through us.

Happiness isn’t the goal of life. Evolution doesn’t work like that. We are designed to survive and reproduce, nothing more. Suffering is necessary to have a naturally and healthy life. People are depressed because they don’t suffer enough, they don’t struggle. If you are a man, then suffering is not even an issue to you.
