He was of his time. Quantum mechanics was the cutting edge of his time, so he thought it was the end all be all. It might be a little unfortunate that he got caught up in a dogma, but for RAW, it is excusable, considering what he did to de-guru himself and others.

Classical Mechanics to me is just a set of rules that narrowly define motion. Like speed, velocity, distance, displacement, projectiles, etc.
Quantum Mechanics is that but at an atomic level? Why do you call classical mechanics antiquated garbage?

I do realise Wilson is fucking with me in a lot of ways, I agree with many of his direct and indirect statements, but I don't understand many of his filler content which seems to me like he's just setting a weird background to convey his thoughts. Which is confusing but funny in some way. Is that the premise?

His writing style seems to be a bunch of ideas put under a circumstance, and a bunch of characters talking to each other spewing different views of his many points. Pretty clever if I understand it correctly.
