What's your favorite CYOAs /lit/? I have a soft spot for the ones from Goosebumps.

I hated them. Everytime I chose wrong, I felt like I lost. I read for fun, not to give myself stress-headaches.

I choose my own adventure every time I select from the body of accomplished, bonafide literature to read from instead of suffering from arresting development, clutching a piss-stained timeworn copy of Goosebumps in one sticky fist and a stiffly encrusted safety blanket in the other.

Go back to sucking off the Great Gatsby Quentin, sometimes people just want to read books for some quick and cheap fun.

F Gardner should make his next books CYOA style. Horror’s Call already feels like Goosebumps for adults.

Those. The CYOAs were kinda hard to find when I got into them, since most of them were out of print. I would go to used bookstores on the weekend with my dad and see if I could find any there. Finding a new one was like unearthing buried treasure to me. There were a few I never found that I might try to buy and read soon for the nostalgia

I like the ones where you can roll dice too. This one and Crypt of the Vampire by Golden Dragon books were favorites of mine.

Oh also because I was an edgy teen during the height of the zombie craze this one gets an honorable mention.

My man. Also found the Romero ending pretty funny.

Yeah that one was like a fan service/nerd culture of the time period shout out. Very fitting.
