Disco Elysium is great. Definitely the best video game I have played writing-wise. I love the writing style.

I don't think one month is enough to become good at writing. Even if you have been writing for eight hours a day for a month (which I highly doubt), that's only 224 hours — not long enough to have become a good writer. My advice would be to keep going, and lower your expectations for the time being.

Out of a mix of curiosity and pity, I read through what you posted on /wg/, and for what it's worth, I don't think it's as bad as you make it out to be. Sure, there are aspects which need work, but I feel like there's potential to your writing. I can tell you through first-hand experience that you are already better than a lot of other beginner writers; I'm currently attending a creative writing summer course, which means I get to read other newbies' texts, and when I tell you they're bad, I mean it. 90% of them are so horrendously talentless that they might as well give up on writing.

In fact, reading their trash pisses me off. They have all been boring, uninteresting, unchallenging, unprovocative, all very tasteful, appropriate. I hate that kind of fiction, which refuses to cross any boundaries whatsoever, which just goes along with whatever themes and motifs happen to be in fashion at the moment. And then, of course, the obligatory shitty horror story, with all the hallmark traits of a shitty horror story. Great job. Fuck you. Get out of art. If you have nothing original to say, nothing new to contribute, just keep to the sidelines and get the fuck out of art. Writing literature is not for middle-aged women who feel sad sometimes. I want to read art by those who understand how to suffer profoundly, not some moronic 43-year-old middle school teacher who's never thought an original thought in her entire life.

To me, there is a clear difference between someone who has potential, but is new to writing and thus not yet skilled enough to live up to that potential, and someone who simply lacks the poetic spirit, someone whose soul contains not a single atom of artistry. In Disco Elysium, there is a lot of talk of deep and shallow souls, and I think that idea encapsulates what I'm trying to say — some, if not most, lack the profundity, for the lack of a better word, to write anything worth the paper it's printed on. I don't know which camp you belong to, but given your evident passion for art, I reckon that continuing practicing is worthwhile. Unfortunately, you will in all likelihood be outsold by the works of the very shallow souls I have mentioned, and that's if you get published at all. Even so, art is worth creating for art's sake. My advice: stop trying to have us pity you and start practicing, just like everyone else is doing. Also, if you're going to commit suicide, read the essay Staying Alive by Houellebecq first.

In that passage, it seemed like OP fell for the common newbie mistake of being insistent upon prose he thinks is cool, using it overabundantly to the detriment of the passage.
The best advice I can give to to OP: language is a tool used to convey information. Everything you write should be focused on clearly expressing something. "Prose", comes from the Latin phraes "prosa oratio" - literally, "straightforward". When we speak, we speak with the intent of communicating our thoughts in a straightforward manner. So, we should write as we speak. By focusing on sounding sophisticated rather than focusing on getting a point across you only betray your intent of sophistication and create a jumbled mess that comes off as pretentious. Every word you write should serve that purpose of clearly expressing something. Big words should not be used because they are big, but rather because they have a certain connotation.
I think this misconception comes from kids reading Shakespeare and Moby Dick and thinking those stories are good because they are difficult to understand to the average modern English speaker because of the antiquated language. Those in the past would not have to had decipher those works as we do today. In fact, Shakespeare wrote his plays for the uneducated masses. The stories are good because of the themes within them. Prose is just the tool used to express those themes.

Why not make some games yourself with Unity/Unreal/Godot or get together with some other people who want to make games? Working on branching narratives, player choice, etc. seems like it would be far more beneficial to you than working on your prose. After I had discovered planescape torment in my first playthrough I felt no reason to go back. But I love the setting. I think DE has a way that keeps people interested. with stylish innuendos and an engaging plot. I don't think it's a bad game, since I enjoyed playing it and even replayed it a few times myself, but ultimately I found that it's not exactly that deep when it concerns the story. Not every game has to have a "message" or "mean something to the world", but I just find that DE has alot of "flashiness", intending to appeal to players, but comes of shallow from examination.
