Is AI killing writing, /lit/?

I've put fragments of writing I've made and prompts for emails to people into this AI, and all it's ever needed is light editing. It instantly spits out what I've been struggling to verbalize almost instantly.

In the future, will all writing be generated by an AI fed with popular fictions and prompts and supervised by an anonymous class of faceless editors?

Are you just going to keep making this thread?

Why did you crop out the part where you asked it to write in Japanese?

Is AI killing mediocre, tasteless and empty writing? Of course. But that's been dead ever since the advent of film, where it migrated.
