Sneed is in no way related to the underground man. Where as the underground man is a weak, spiteful, pitiful man whose revolution of thought obsessively center upon his depiction in others' minds of him, though he self sabotages any grand social schemes of his imagined greatness. Sneed on the other hand, or rather, sneedposting, and sneedposters as a sort of collective union-a signifier of a frame of mind and behavior- represents the darkly deprecative and sardonic attitude of a man who has surpassed the vain recursive maladaptive thought patterns of the weak narcissist, and simply proclaims his creed as a single word to entail not just the arbitrary distanced emotional ambivalence towards and effort post but as an esoteric reminder of the latent entropic meaninglessness behind all things and phenomena; which he proclaims not from a misanthropic despair but as like the biological chemical marker found in proteins- sneed simply is a product of nature. The mascot of Sneedposting, sneed himself, is the simple throwaway character of the salt-of-the-earth white farmer. Whose pleasure is derived simply from his pipe, copulation with the missus, and watching the city folk confusedly stop by his store from the comfort of his porch. He has been depicted in many ways- as a rapper, as the strong man choking saint george floyd (pbuh) or even proudly embracing St. George in his butt cheeks- the disinterested yet strong white man whose archetype shows the detachment from the current diseased social affairs of the world and as consequence, the internet.
