Guys please help, im looking for a genre or a book or an author which deals with dark and taboo themes, things which are frowned in our society yet which are present in life.
Examples of works which I really liked would be Berserk, Baudelaire, Nabokov and Shounen no Abyss because they explore those taboo topics without being too edgy. Bonus points for gore

Oh boy, it's time for the daily "Books Like Berserk?" thread.

sorry if it came off that way but i am not looking for a carbon copy of berserk in novel form for me to jerk my 2 inch pecker pretending to be le struggler. What Im after is the sense of dread and despair which you feel in some of berserks chapters; the animalistic drive and horror of what the human mind is capable of creating and bringing forth. That barbaric, yet resounding call of horrors, of all the suffering and despair and the draw to it. Artist such as Baudelaire who dive into the degeneracy and create art, who portray humans as both creatures of endless potential sin and beauty. I know this sounds like the ramblings of a schizo at 2am, but im genuinely interested in these works which challange you to leave your comfort zone and experience a shock factor of a taboo

Thank you for talking in my thread this is one of my biggest accomplishments so far and i wouldnt have gotten here without your support. Please have this cool image i found on /wg/ a couple of months back. Its a bit of a hobby of mine to lurk the boards for handrawn ms paint pictures by other anons, i just find it cool to collect tidbits of seemingly random art from strangers, anyways this picute kindof reminds me of how i feel when i listen in linkin park so thats pretty cool

Hey anon, maybe check out Nibelungenlied.

Also, I think you have a form of autism. But I suppose it could be worse.

All the best
