I agree plastics and pollution are massive issues but so are carbon dioxide emissions. The greenhouse effect on temperatures is undeniable. Does it promote growth of plants? i can't think of any real country where healthcare and tings like teeth aren't free for citizens. it's one of the points of paying taxes.

also, anon, i feel like people who think this (not understanding it obviously) feel somehow deeply reliant upon the local present to validate themslves; as if to go back only 50 yrs or so and they would suddenly be ugly and unpopular for the 5,000 prior to the definition of one concept or another being changed.
