I've been trying to find the earliest examples of feet eroticism. The Bible has some. Philostratus wrote poems about the feet of women and boys. Horace seems to touch no them. Petrarch can't stop talking about them. A generous amount of mentions in Arab poetry too.

Yeah. Funny little book. Popular in its day; almost unread now. But it introduced *two* words into the lexicon. (Svengali & trilby).
