I’ve been in a depressive state for years, and the only pause in it was when I was on unemployment during the pandemic when it first started. I had all my time to working out, reading, occasionally writing, and watching 2 movies every night. And hanging out with my friends since they were all back from college.
This poses a problem. I can’t reach those standards anymore, so I don’t know how to get out of this state. I have a 9-5 job where I make great money from home, I have friends I go out with often, but it just doesn’t do it for me anymore. The pandemic made everyone around me think the world was ending and I was just surfing the wave, it was nonstop freedom and leisure. I can’t even bring myself to write anymore. I love having written but I hate writing. How do I rekindle my passion for life again?

I drove maybe 3 blocks to a quiet area (we live in Oregon, it's not hard to find a quiet field) and I got out of the car, went around like I was going to open her door for her and let her out, and I just beat the shit out of her while she was still seatbelted. After a few punches, I asked her if she wanted to go back to her parents. She started screaming and yelling and said yes, so I beat the shit out of her again. Then I asked her what she wanted to do. She finally got smart and said she wanted to go home. So I took her home and dared her to start trouble. I even handed her my cellphone and dialed her mom's number on the drive home. I made her talk to her mom, while daring her to fucking say something.

Before that incident, I had never laid a hand on her. But I had always threatened it. I told her "one of these days, if you don't straighten up, I'm going to lay hands on you."

All my meals have been on time, and she just recently tried to make a meatloaf. It was mediocre, but I was just thrilled that she tried.

2. lawful self-governance within own national borders, varying in regional culture and legal frameworks but rooted in common international law (Everywhere Else - except various islamic pseudo--monarchic-theocratic states, north korea and apartheid israel, with the worst offenders - esp. in terms of actual bloodshed and perpetual military use against civilians - being allies of The West)

Nah, I think you're forgetting that psycopathy is a spectrum just like autism is, in the same way you have spergs who are "high functioning" most people think of psycopaths as intelligent serial killers who plan ahead and stuff, when in actual fact they are the minority, many psychopaths are impulsive violent criminals who like the high functioning ones are incapable of empathy, shame, or guilt and feel no responsibility for their actions, they have a diminished capacity to suppress their impulses and desires, and as such aren't able to be intelligently methodical.
I might be wrong, but I understand Autism being a nebulous group of deficiencies in filtering stimuli, both internal and external. And the most common aspect of this is a confusion and deficiency in being able to understand social cues. Psycopaths on the other hand don't have a problem with filtering stimuli, but rather have deficiencies in empathy, shame, guilt, and impulse modulation. With the exception of the last, none of these are either similar, nor polar opposites to Autism. Autistic people don't lack empathy, the high functioning ones just need to learn the social cues that allow them to register what a person is feeling. High functioning Psychopaths may be able to learn the cues much easier, but they still don't feel empathy.

I think this is why you people who can't speak or think properly came to think that 'autism' was a word for intelligent people, due to the positive PR for autism w/ the term 'high functioning'.
