I have a billion PDF files on my PC that I would like to turn into a physical book collection since I loathe reading them on an LCD screen.
Can you just upload those files on lulu or whatever and have them sent to you without any issues? Are there any print-on-demand services that do not give a fuck? Or will I have to print them myself?
Are eBook readers worth it? I usually have multiple books open on my desk…

I downloaded a lot of ebooks and read maybe 0.01%. The hamster had awakened. Then he realized he doesn't need that many ebooks. The squirrel was behaving erratically and attacked his library while he was trying to print all his ebooks. Moral: Invest in your security system.

If you read a lot ereader is a must
I mean you might still prefer paper over them, but even if you use it less than books, you're going to use it for sure, for example on holidays or something like that. So it will pay off even if you prefer paper

Just buy them as used books if you want them in person. It'll be cheaper than printing them out.

You're being an idiot. Yes, ebook readers are worth it. No shit. Once upon a time I was an idiot like you. I tried to print my PDFs out and put them in binders. What a waste of time and money. If there's a particularly important book that you're going to be using all the time, then it makes sense to print a physical copy out and either bind it or put it in a duo-tang or binder. Keep in mind that PDFs don't display well on all readers. You'll have to do more research on that.

Is having hundreds of books on the palm of your hand worth it? Definitely, especially when traveling. Altough nothing beats a physical copy of a good book.
The best option is a Kobo for epubs and pdfs. Epubs have better formatting.

Here's a few steps:
Install exifcleaner to remove all metadata from files (easy to use, just put the files in there and they automatically update).
Upload files to a Kobo (clara HD is the cheapest)
Enjoy your free e-books.

Idiots. Enjoy having your whole library in the hands of Amazon. Enjoy straining your eyes on a puny screen while trying to read a PDF. Enjoy trying to write notes in your book with your shitty little touch screen keyboard.

There are ebook readers with stylus, especially all 10" and 13" models which should be your main choice for reading pdf.
Amazon has nothing to do with that and nobody can delete something off an unconnected device.

>Enjoy having your whole library in the hands of Amazon.
Kobo is literally a competitor, it has a better product overall.
>Enjoy straining your eyes on a puny screen while trying to read a PDF.
Optimal for the eyes while reading, in that order:
Physical book > e-ink book > any LCD screen
>Enjoy trying to write notes in your book with your shitty little touch screen keyboard.
The writing is mostly the same as a smartphone. You can still do physical notes, no one's stopping you.

I have used a site called printme1 dot com for several pdfs i wanted printed out. I printed out all the voat goat "pill" series. I printed out the english translation of solzhenitsyn 200 years together, which didnt exist in print in english. I used it for the "a more rational worldview" pdf that an anon wrote about 911 and the bible. Its a good service. A bit expensive if you print in color. Several different binding options. I think up to ~900 pages they can bind

Buy a printer.
Or just go to a seedy part of the city to the cheap printery and negotiate with the owner about getting a bulk discount. In here I know places that charge 0.0135 USD per double side printed page if you're printing over 3000 pages.
And for a quick price comparison, the cost would be about 40 USD for what is like 5 books of the type I'm interested in, so about 8$ per piece.
If I was to bulk order them so I don't have to pay extra for shipping, each individual book would cost more then the printing of the 5 combined.

I actually want to do something similar to this, the problem is I want the pages to be binded within a hardbound spine like pic related.

do shops exist where you hand over the pages and they bind it for you in a custom manner?

1. just use an ereader.
2. just go to a printers shop. They don't give a shit what you print.
